Our members club was founded in 1787 and we operate our heritage parkland course at Killermont Glasgow and our championship Gailes Links Course in Ayrshire.
At Killermont, on the North bank of the River Kelvin, and just five miles from Glasgow city centre, we enjoy a manicured parkland course which follows the original line of play to the greensites laid out by Old Tom Morris in December 1903. The course has hosted many prestigious events over the years.
The magnificent clubhouse at Killermont reflects our long history and the traditions of the game that we hold dear, as befits the world’s 9th oldest golf club. The parkland course at Killermont was designed by Old Tom Morris back in 1904, and whilst there have been several modifications to the golf course, the layout of the course remains true to the original design.
