Well a New World was entered into by many on Saturday scoring through the App ……. which in spite of earlier fears all seemed to have gone well, with 225 playing & 217 playing on Tuesday. A rising star in Charlie Greaves just missed the scratch score of the day by one but recorded a net 67 & he’s only 16. Someone a wee bit older took the honours in second class with a net score of 63, your Vice Captain Hamish Macfarlane. Well done to both.
We were also able to enjoy outside eating & drinking while analysing scores or just relaxing.
Jack Roberts bought the last rake available or was it a comb? Suitable captions please to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can your attention be drawn to the issue of Call up holes. In order to keep the competitions running on time this policy allows the first & second tees to free up & prevent a back log – when reaching the greens mark & call up the game behind – this applies to 1st, 2nd & 13th holes only. If you can also be mindful of a game that could complete the 8th if you are waiting on the 9th tee. Finally can trolleys please be kept off teeing areas.
Good luck to all playing in all the knockout competitions.
